I'm a regular attendee of Mike Summers' Sport Bike Night events for motorcycle racing fans. Recently he asked me to make the SBN site professional looking on a very limited budget. Though still a bit barebones, it'll evolve over the next season to have some WOW factor, but for now, the goal was a clean, intuitive and professional design.

An online game I actually enjoy

Okay, I'm not much of a fan of online multiplayer games -- though I do enjoy console party games. So, despite thinking it would suck, Disney's Pirates Online is actually a really fun adventure RPG for non-hardcore MMORPG gamers. It offers a delightful world to swashbuckle and sail around in, with a mix of hack-n-slash (complete with voodoo, grenades, pistols, swords and daggers) and broadside "sailing" battles that can be done solo or with a crew. Drawn of course from the Pirates of the Caribbean movies it's lighthearted fun.

Well we rung in Samhain with a bit of ghoulish fun, though the turnout of trick-or-treaters was pathetic. That said, we did see from the window that some were afraid to approach because of the creepy music and pagan decorations. Mwhahahahaa! Weak Fools!
We were inspired by Wendy's awesome "monster" cupcakes, so we did some of our own.
